The AbioRTC incorporates a very accurate real-time clock. The card is primarily used with Raspberry Pi model A, B, A+, B+, Raspberry Pi 2 model B, Raspberry Pi 3 model B, and Banana Pi. The AbioRTC can also be used with the AxiCat.

Please read the documentation before you begin using your AbioRTC. The user manual contains important information about setting up the AbioRTC.

The AbioRTC card is delivered with software that reads the time from the real-time clock and sets the system time accordingly. This program is started at boot and at regular intervals via cron. Note that the link points to a version of the software that runs on Raspberry Pi only. For most use cases of the AbioRTC this software will suffice.
